Creative Coding Barcelona

Creative Coding Barcelona takes over SonarÀgora with a session for creative coders and those who find beauty in between lines of code and inside algorithms. Creative Coding Barcelona is a community exploring the creative possibilities of programming. Its mission is to share knowledge and inspiration about computational art and inspire multidisciplinary collaborations. The collective welcomes everyone, regardless of programming experience or technical background. Informal gatherings provide a space for members to showcase projects, discuss topics of interest, and connect with others who share their passions.

In this session, four artists break down their practice and share what drives themand what they hope to spark:

'Digital Rituals' with Andreas Gysin

'Sound Synthesis' with Roger Pibernat

'Dialogues' with Maria Castellanos & Alberto Valverde

'Interfícies sensibles / Sensitive Interfaces' with Judit Castells, Sara Gamazo, Daniela Guevara Orellano, Paula Jaime, Adriana Mora Meza, Mariana Pachón, Louise Fernandez Vidart & Xavier Manzanares

This is your chance to see creative coding in action, hear stories from deep inside the process, and get inspired by wildly personal and experimental approaches. If you've ever asked a weird question in front of a plotter or a line of codeyou’ll feel right at home here.

Please note that you'll need to register for this activity. All Sónar+D ticketholders (SonarPass+D, Sónar by Day Pass, Community Pass, anyone who's purchased a Sónar+D upgrade) will be invited to register via email, starting on 26th May.
