17/12/2025ISA kicks off the new season of SonarMix
With the first third of the Sónar 2026 lineup now announced, we’re rebooting our SonarMix series for another season. Join us as we explore the sounds of the 2026 lineup on our way towards the 33rd edition of the festival, which takes place on the 18th, 19th and 20th June at Fira Gran Via. SonarMix 071, the first set from a Sónar 2026 artist, dives into the world of ISA, the Berlin-based Spanish producer and DJ. Bringing together everything she loves, she finds “the sweet spot between psychedelic techno, psy influences, tech house and trippy atmospheres, while keeping it fun and danceable”.
“Playing at Sónar means a lot to me… when I was 8 or 9, my brother came home from the festival and told us all about it. That was the first time I heard of a big electronic music festival. Being part of it this year feels truly special and I’m really grateful!” Featuring over 70 editions to date, the SonarMix series is our way of introducing you to artists you might not recognise from the lineup. It’s where we show you the wide range of sounds that are part of Sónar’s DNA: everything from boundary-pushing dance music and overlooked legends to experimental sonics and musical innovators. Some highlights from recent years include MikeQ, Perel, Angel Molina, Clementaum, Kelly Moran, DALILA, and Kode9.
SonarMix 071 is just the first step for the series on a winding road towards Sónar 2026, so stay tuned for plenty more in the coming months.

20/11/2025Revealing the first wave for Sónar 2026: from Amelie Lens to Skepta, and from Charlotte de Witte to Cabaret Voltaire
The first wave of names for Sónar 2026 has landed, a carefully-curated taste of what to expect in June next year.  30drop presents Insight Into Mind and SpaceAlba FranchAmelie Lens presents AURAascendant vierge hybrid setDJ AYABoys NoizeCabaret VoltaireCharlotte de WitteChris StussyClementaum b2b LAZA  | Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy presents CosmodelicaDanielle b2b Ryan ElliottFunk TribuGerd Janson b2b Marcel DettmannDJ GigolaISA Joy OrbisonJulianna Barwick & Mary LattimoreKelisKETTAMADJ MARIA.MK b2b TSHAModeselektor live Nia ArchivesOgazónriria RONISammy Virji SkeptaLa SofyWhoMadeWho live
Originalunique, and diverse, this first selection of artists speaks to our DNA as a festival. Ahead of our most ambitious and interactive edition to date, we’re evolving while staying true to our founding principles.
Each year, we deliberately release the line-up in segments, allowing you to discover the programme in different stages of construction: 2026 will be no different. These 31 names account for just under a third of the final line-up - which will include over 100 acts and additional activities - yet already illustrate the enduring spirit of Sónar: a celebration of innovation and creativity in electronic music and beyond. A reminder: this year we’re bringing together - not fusing, not merging - Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night for three days of non-stop, uninterrupted music. Questions? We’ve got answers for you here
One single ticket is now your passport to entire worlds of sound. The man who took grime global, Skepta, returns for a triumphant headline show, alongside a pair of potent new AV shows from the reigning queens of techno, Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte. And only at Sónar would you find New York r&b icon Kelis - yes, the same Kelis who wrote Milkshake and Millionaire - alongside pioneering industrial and electronic act Cabaret Voltaire
Elsewhere, one of UK dance music’s fastest rising new stars, Sammy Virji, makes his Sónar debut, as does Nia Archives: the jungle revivalist is bringing a full band live show to Barcelona. They’re joined by another multi-faceted UK artist, as Joy Orbison returns to Sónar for what will be another sublime set. They’re just some of the highlights from an already-stacked lineup of DJs that also includes future superstars KETTAMADJ Gigola and Funk Tribuselector-par-excellence Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy, and ambassadors of mental techno - DJ MARIA. - and high-velocity club music - Clementaum b2b LAZA.
Finally, Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore bring a necessary touch of neoclassical wonder to Sónar 2026, ahead of the release of their collaborative record of harp, synthesiser and vocals, Tragic Magic. And we’ve also tapped two Sónar favourites - Modeselektor and WhoMadeWho - to play brand-new live sets.
Grab your SonarPass now and you’ll have access to all this and more.  And stay tuned for the rest of the line-up and more information on Sónar 2026 - including full details of the Sónar+D programme located in the city centre - coming early next year. See you at Sónar 2026!
