10 years on, Sónar Kids is back. Designed so that families can enjoy music and creativity together, it takes place on Saturday 20th June from 11:00 to 20:00 in Parc del Forùm, specifically in Petit Amfiteatre.
Sónar Kids includes three different areas located next to each other: SonarXS, which features 10 different musical performances; SonarDôme, where you’ll find interactive workshops; and Zona de Jocs, a free-play zone for children and their families.
Sharing the festival’s commitment to exploration and innovation, Sónar Kids invites both artists and the public to take part in a shared experience that reimagines the idea of family entertainment. The programme is designed to awaken and stimulate the creativity of the youngest members of the family: as well as their first musical performances and creative experiences, they’ll be encouraged to learn, experiment with sound and enjoy art in entirely new ways.

Finally, the Zona de Jocs will be open for free-play throughout the event with graffiti materials, a minigolf course and other lower-stimulation activities that act as a break from the main programme.
An event designed for families
Sónar Kids features a series of features designed to make the event as comfortable as possible for all members of the family. The volume levels for all performances and activities will be maintained at a level suitable for young children. All three spaces feature shaded areas to provide protection from the sun and heat, and there’ll be astroturf flooring so that children can play without risk of injury.
