Music and Creativity for Families

Sónar Kids is a parallel programme designed so that families can enjoy the music and creativity of Sónar together. Sharing the festival's exploratory, innovative spirit, it’s an invitation to both artists and audiences alike to create a shared experience that broadens the possibilities and refreshes the concept of children and family leisure.Both parents and their children are welcome at Parc del Fòrum on Saturday 20th June for an event that will be a safe environment for minors, with special adaptations.  The programme will include activities designed to awaken and stimulate the creativity of the youngest members of the family. As well as their first creative experiences and musical performances, they’ll be encouraged to learn, experiment with sound and enjoy art in totally new ways. Sónar Kids features a series of features designed to make the event as comfortable as possible for all members of the family. The volume levels for all performances and  activities will be maintained at a level suitable for young children. All three spaces feature shaded areas to provide protection from the sun and heat, and there’ll be astroturf flooring so that children can play without risk of injury. Pushchairs and other family necessities will be allowed in, and families will also be allowed to bring their own food into the venue, especially if they have specific dietary requirements. Food will also be available for purchase and there’ll be picnic area set up away from the stages for everyone to eat in peace. And finally, there’ll also be a Sónar Kids merch stand selling clothing and accessories designed for children.Similar to the Sónar+D programme on Thursday and Friday, Sónar Kids is designed so that parents can combine it with the main Sónar programme at Fira Gran Via.Saturday 20th June

Parc del FòrumSónar Kids has teamed up with Tibidabo so that families can enjoy outdoor activities all summer long. If you’re coming to Sónar Kids, keep your eyes peeled as we’ll be handing out 2-for-1 vouchers for Tibidabo Amusement Park, valid throughout the summer!
