Athens-based multimedia artist George Moraitis explores the spaces between sonic sculptures, audiovisual installations, two-dimensional art and performance. Selected via this year’s Open Call for Project Area, his touch-sensitive ‘Schematics’ piece turns synthesiser schematics into graphic scores, allowing viewers to create music using the tips of their fingers. He’ll discuss the concepts behind this work, as well as his general creative process and practice, in an in-depth discussion with leading design publication designboom.
