In collaboration with Sónar+D, Arts Korea Lab presents five pioneering Korean creators who are rethinking the future through AI, music technology, environmental data, and radical design. This is your opportunity to discover more about these projects - which will also be exhibited as part of Project Area this year - from the artists themselves. Each artist will give a 10-minute pitch and a brief demo of their project - think of it as a glimpse into tomorrow’s creative technology, shaped by sound, touch, robotics, and virtual experience. Tune into the future with Arts Korea Lab and Sónar+D this June.

Arts Korea Lab (AKL), launched by Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) in 2023, is both a creative venue and a robust support platform for artists and art companies. KAMS is a non-profit arts and cultural foundation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Korea. It operates comprehensive and systematic programs aimed at fostering the distribution of the arts, enhancing the competitiveness of arts organizations, and promoting the self-sufficiency of the Korea arts scene. As part of KAMS’s mission, AKL empowers the pioneering and amplification of new artistic endeavors through technology. Artist-focused infrastructure and comprehensive support programs of AKL foster the expansion of the art industry.
