About Moog x Sónar 2026

Moog and Sónar are joining forces in 2026 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of Barcelona’s most famed clubs. Founded as Moog Electronic Dancing Club on the 21st June 1996, this Barcelona institution has kept the city dancing every single night of the year, becoming a fixture of the local scene. Just like Sónar, its booth has seen the dance music’s generational artists - from Laurent Garnier and Miss Kittin to Richie Hawtin - come of age, as well as every major local talent.

Two names that have been instrumental in establishing Barcelona as a global leader in electronic music and club culture, Moog and Sónar share an innovative, inclusive and transformative vision of music, a universal language capable of breaking down barriers and uniting generations. The paths of both, one a club that opens every night, and the other a festival that transforms the city each and every June, have long been intertwined, feeding off each other and moving forward in parallel.

This year, from Thursday 18th until Sunday 21st June, Moog will host a series of events that complement Sónar during the same week. Fans of electronic music who are looking for more intimate experiences will be able to experience a programme jointly curated by two of the city’s leading brands and Barcelona-based artist Angel Molina on one of its most famed dancefloors. This programme is another addition to the biggest edition of Sónar Week yet, taking over Barcelona from one end to the other.
