Two distinct performers appear together for the first time at Sónar+D with a piece that explores collective catharsis. 

A Fitnesss performance is an exercise in controlled, spontaneous chaos. Equipped with his own self-designed exoskeleton and light and sound controllers, the Los Angeles-based performance artist (he also plays drums for Yeule and teaches Ableton live) throws himself into the crowd, with the intention of igniting an explosion of energy.

From his base in Madrid, Riusforza has developed and refined his own language of choreography and performance using elements of martial arts, classical and modern dance, and moving images. Ritualistic, speculative, and deeply embodied, his work is striking in its uniqueness.
