For safety reasons, the following items are not allowed at Sónar by Day or Sónar by Night:

  • aerosols;
  • suitcases, bags, or backpacks larger than 40x20x25 cm or with a capacity over 20 liters;
  • electric scooters, skateboards, or bicycles;
  • professional cameras;
  • food or drink (except for items listed here);
  • canteens or bottles, whether full or empty;
  • drones;
  • laser pointers;
  • selfie sticks;
  • sharp objects;
  • helium balloons or any items that could obstruct visibility of the shows;
  • glass containers.

You may enter the festival with small bagshandbags or backpacks (provided they are maximum 40x20x25 cm in size and under 20 liters in capacity).

You can also enter with a motorcycle helmet, but it must be stored in the lockers. If no locker of adequate size is available, you can use the helmet check service (cost €6) located near the VIP cloakroom .

If you have a VIP ticket, you can use the VIP cloakroom free of charge.

Lockers are available for rent at both Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night. You can store your belongings there while you enjoy the festival. We recommend booking your locker in advance - you’ll find all the information here.

Both the lockers and the VIP cloakroom at Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night are open throughout the festival, from when the venues open until they close.
