Accessibility and inclusionAt Sónar, we’re committed to making our events more accessible and inclusive for all festivalgoers every year.
At Sónar, we’re continuously working to improve accessibility, with help from Fundación Music for All. Together, we’ve developed an accessibility plan - based on an in-depth assessment - which acts as a roadmap for us to improve, year after year.
At present, we’ve implemented the following:
- a form to address different needs and establish direct communication with users;
- accessibility services available upon request: vibrating backpacks with magnetic loops, NaviLens codes, braille programs, wheelchairs on loan;
- priority access lanes;
- priority-use tables in food areas;
- accessible bathrooms;
- low-height bar counters accessible to wheelchair users;
- trained staff at information points;
- elevated platforms reserved exclusively for people with special needs, offering excellent stage visibility, proper furnishings, and clear signage;
- the option to bring a companion with you for support if you hold a disability certificate above 33%.
We’ve also partnered with Dinder Club, the first dating and social app for people with disabilities, to help everyone enjoy the Sónar experience to the fullest.
