We had a surprise guest behind the scenes at Sónar 2024. For the first time, European cultural broadcaster ARTE took part in the festival with a multi-camera set up on Friday at SonarClub - the biggest stage at Sónar by Night. 

Throughout the evening, five full-length shows were recorded: Richie Hawtin, presenting DEX FX X0X for the first time in Europe; Adriatique; Ben Böhmer live; Jennifer Cardini b2b HAAi; and Arnau Obiols. 

In addition, Richie Hawtin himself will be joining the live chat for the YouTube premiere of his show this Thursday 18th July at 20:00 CEST. Join the stream here.

Few DJs know how to master the vibe at SonarClub like Jennifer Cardini and HAAi. An icon of the Parisian underground and one of Australia’s most exciting selectors joined forces for a unique back-to-back.

Adriatique

As Adriatique, Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer have risen to the top of the melodic techno scene. At the peak of their powers, the Swiss duo made their Sónar debut on the main stage at Sónar by Night.

Arnau Obiols

Local hero, Catalan producer and DJ Arnau Obiols was in charge of opening Sónar by Night 2024. His hybrid set combined his exquisite musical selection with live percussion.

A live set of melodic and emotional dance music from one of electronic music’s brightest new stars, Ben Böhmer.
