A sound is worth a thousand words…at least in the case of Elkka. We could tell you that the London-based Welsh DJ and producer was once a singer-songwriter, before she became an electronic artist. Or testify that her sets are pure dancefloor hedonism. But really, SonarMix 060 says it all. 

“This year I decided I really want to go deep into honing my craft as a DJ,” she tells us. With the goal of producing music entirely dedicated to the dancefloor, she’s spent more hours than ever before immersing herself in it, specifically in some of her “favourite queer spaces around the world.”

The result is a mix of 13 sensual and seductive house tracks, which would be the perfect soundtrack for a beach at sunrise. It’s a slow-burning selection, with each individual track given time to shine, including three “new tracks from me which will be coming out this summer”, in addition to her big hit “surrender2me”, here remixed by Aiden Francis.
