Violent Magic Orchestra combine the intensity of black metal and noise with the energy of techno, gabber and hard trance. The result is hypnotic, pummelling and impossibly powerful: their live shows are physically, aurally and visually overwhelming, consuming electricity equivalent to 56 amplifiers. Their early - more obviously black metal influenced - work caught the ear of fellow Sónar 2024 artist Gabber Eleganza who signed them to his Never Sleep label. They’re bringing their Death Rave - named for their forthcoming album on Never Sleep - concept live show to Sónar 2024. Fans of extreme sonics and unique performances won’t want to miss it.
