The Glasgow curator, producer and DJ champions non-Western rhythms, inclusive female-led spaces, and accessible experimentalism in her wide-ranging sets
Curator, producer, sound designer, and DJ… there are few hats that Sarra Wild hasn’t worn. From Glasgow, but now based in London, where she runs artistic platform OH141, which runs events across the UK and around the world. As a DJ, her approach is based on non-Occidental rhythms and melodies, experimentalism and her dedication to artists and music from the global diaspora. A proud ambassador for emerging talent and local artists - wherever she plays, she invites them to share the stage with her - she’s long campaigned for promoters to support their local scenes. All this tireless work has brought her to Barcelona, where she’ll close the opening day at Sónar 2025.
