Andalusia is famous for flamenco, Moorish architecture… and breakbeat. Just ask GAZZI and DALILA, two of the leading producers and DJs who’ve emerged from Spain’s southernmost region in recent years. Each favours a different type of broken rhythm: DALILA’s slow-burning sets hark back to the golden era of 90s raving, while GAZZI adores the emotive sound of post-dubstep producers like Four Tet and Burial. They’ve both appeared at Sónar separately, now they’ll showcase the modern sound of Andalusia for a special back-to-back at Sónar by Night.
