For Angel and Lulu Prost, dance music has always sounded like home. Raised in St. Louis and now based in New York, they grew up steeped in the catharsis of EDM’s golden age. Since 2019, as Frost Children, they’ve built one of the most unclassifiable worlds in electronic pop, where hyperpop, electro, punk and screamo all fit, wrapped in an aesthetic they’ve christened “dubstep academia”.
Their latest album, SISTER, released in 2025 via True Panther and Dirty Hit, is a return to the first sounds that made them dance, but also a portrait of their bond as siblings, roommates… and bandmates. Anthems like “Falling” and “Position Famous” blend an emo spirit with electro and pop to explore codependence, consistency and change, with an energy that goes beyond nostalgia. In 2026 came the EP Tweaker Poem, recorded in a single night in Tokyo. Along the way, they’ve collaborated with artists such as Porter Robinson, Danny Brown and Kim Petras.
They say they can read each other’s minds, something you can feel in their live shows, and something we’ll get to see for ourselves this June.
