The mixed cultural identity of the Caribbean is a source of constant inspiration for DJ SOSA RD. Born in the Dominican Republic but now based in Barcelona, his music has that  particular Caribbean energy: styles, rhythms and ideas flow freely. His sets trace lines between European raves, the Afro-Latin diaspora, and equatorial party culture, full of unexpected, delightful twists and turns. With the sampler and the mixer as his tools, he invites us into a world of half-imagined, half-remembered Caribbbean raves where techno and salsa meet jungle and tropicalia.
