The Colombian underground, and in particular that of Bogotá, has long attracted attention. This is where DJ Gatasanta came from, cultivating a special taste for punk and electronica that led her to make the decision to move first to Paris and then to Barcelona to develop an artistic career centred on the most lysergic electro and techno music. Recently, both as half of Amas and on her own as BlackWhiteChief, she has moved towards sound abstraction, creating intense sensorial journeys with her sets. We can’t think of anyone better to open Sónar by Day on the third day of the festival.
