Before she focused on techno, Adriana Lopez was already breaking beats. Between 2005 and 2010, the Colombian DJ and producer played drum’n’bass across Spain, France and Colombia under the alias Suut, and was part of Surco, a Barcelona collective that helped drive the city’s scene with parties bringing together local and international DJs.

After years spent honing her sound within techno, she’s now reviving Suut as an independent project. Drawing on her drum’n’bass roots, she moves between the genre and half-time, exploring shifting tempos, broken rhythms and new sonic directions. The result reveals another side of her musical identity, proof that her relationship with electronic music goes far beyond labels.

With new releases on the way, Suut is opening a new chapter… and we’ll get to witness it at Sónar 2027.
