Since 1994, Sónar has been much more than just a music festival. What started in Barcelona with electronic and experimental music is now something much bigger.

As we enter our fourth decade, we’re still exploring every corner of music from every corner of the globe, and still trying to document and understand what it is that drives us to create and innovate.

Our ‘event like no other,’ Sónar+D explores the spaces in between creativity, innovation, and technology; and we’ve taken the essence of Sónar around the globe, from Europe to Asia and Latin America, with over 100 different editions worldwide.
