This is not first time that the Belgian audiovisual andinteractive  studio Superbe has come to Sónar+D. Those with good memories will remember XYZ, an installation that put us in the place of an orchestra conductor at the head of a choir composed of screens. 

This time they come with a different project, with a similar unifying narrative: a material sculpture that uses algorithms and music, plus interactive elements to articulate the relationship between audience and installation. 

This year they present From0: a spectacular kinetic sculpture. Using recordings of the audience’s voice, a series of pendulums are set in motion and synchronised to musical notes that can be adjusted and controlled by the audience. Sing, speak or whisper into the microphone and see your voice transformed into music and movement.
