As the brains behind Antídoto Club, Yosef has played a major part in revitalising Madrid’s nightlife in recent years, inviting the artists including Interplanetary Criminal, Andy C, Evian Christ, and DJ Maphorisa to play his parties. On SonarMix 041, he steps out of the shadows with “fistful of my favourite tracks” that go from speed garage and dubstep to trance and eurodance.

“Euphoria, nostalgia, and fast-paced music” is how the Andalucian DJ and promoter sells his set at Sónar by Night on Friday 14th June. Here, he drops bouncy speed garage from Skeptic and Silva Bumpa, and throwback, grimey dubstep cuts from Main Phase and Hamdi & Money P. He’s also not afraid of a cheeky edit - from Craig David to Ciara - or some hands-in-the-air trance, with tracks from eurodance revivalists like DJ Heartstring and hotline.
