Starting as a pandemic-era studio project led by Dutch techno veteran Speedy J, STOOR has now evolved into one of electronic music’s most impressive and unique live concepts. Entirely collaborative, hardware-driven and improvised, each session lasts upwards of 5 hours, with the performers in the centre of the room, surrounded by the audience and with visuals projected onto a central totem: total immersion is guaranteed.

On each day of Sónar, Speedy J will be joined by four different performers, plus specially selected visual artists. What happens next is entirely unscripted and unrehearsed: each night will be an unrepeatable, unique experience. 

From Spandau on the outskirts of Berlin, FJAAK bring the anarchic, anything-goes spirit of the rave to everything they do. Their live appearances are an extension of their free-form studio sessions, emphasising improvisation, playfulness and experimentation.

KiNK might be the most inimitable live performer in electronic music, a one-in-a-million artist who combines incredible technical skill with a passion for technology and wide-eyed creativity. Dynamic, playful and impossible to take your eyes off, there’s no one else like him. 

Berlin-based artist Nene H is a shapeshifter. A classically trained pianist with Turkish-Azerbaijani heritage who taught herself to play modular synthesisers, she’s unafraid of complexity, comfortable layering her unique style of techno with multiple influences and ideas.
