Desilence are one of the most established Spanish studios working at the intersection of live visuals, performance and stage design, with a long trajectory of collaborations with artists, festivals and large scale productions. Their practice approaches the moving image less as composition and more as a living material, where systems, light and rhythm evolve over time.
This workshop proposes an approach to real time visual creation from a logic close to painting. Building on their work with Notch, they will share how they construct images that are not composed but rather emerge: visual systems where form, light and rhythm evolve over time.
The session will combine an introduction to their process, how they conceive a piece, how they structure it, how to leave room for the unexpected, finishing with a hands-on moment in which participants will be able to interact directly with our tools.
More than learning a software, this is about understanding a way of looking: working with the image as living matter, where every decision modifies its behaviour.
A space to explore, test and observe how an image evolves in real time.
