Two halves of Madrid's queer institution CARBS bring the party to Sónar

After years working in duos - first as 3 Channels, now as world-touring house outfit Catz 'n Dogz - Polish producer Voitek Taranczuk turns inward with Ketiov (Voitek in reverse), his most personal project, where he follows his own instincts and breaks genre boundaries at will. From his roots throwing parties as a young DJ in Poland to his current base in Madrid, he's built a sound that mixes deep house, disco, techno and 90s house with effortless flair, with releases on labels like Gerd Janson's Running Back and sets across Europe. In Madrid he's a Café Berlín resident and, together with his husband David Rigote, runs the acclaimed LGBTQ+ party CARBS.

Also based in Madrid and a resident at CARBS, Fernanda Arrau has spent over two decades shaping a distinctive sonic identity that bridges her Latin American heritage with contemporary house. Renowned for her emotional, sensual sets, she brings a radiant energy and a refined dancefloor sensibility equally at home on big stages and festivals as it is in clubs. As a producer she has released on influential labels including Permanent Vacation, Peach Discs, Pets Recordings, Shall Not Fade and Smiile (Chloé Caillet).
