Barcelona i el futur de la música amb la intel·ligència artificial

AI & Music powered by S+T+ARTS

Please note: session will be held in Catalan

Hosted by renowned AI researcher Jordi Pons of Stability AI , this open conversation brings together some of the leading names in AI and generative music from Barcelona. There’ll be a special focus on the local community of artists and creators who are working with and developing AI tools, looking at what the future of music might look like in the AI era. The audience will be invited to take part in the session by asking questions to the panellists.

Sergio Oramas’ day job is as a data scientist and musicologist - holder of a PhD Universitat Pompeu Fabra, he’s now working at SiriusXM/Pandora where he focuses on recommendation systems and large language models - but by night he also produces music as Muyaio

Pere Pèries is a composer and creative technologist who’s been working with music, performing arts and AI for many years. His most recent work includes Ars Gràcia, a generative music installation in the Barcelona Metro, that used anonymous data from passersby to create music in real-time.

Pol Wagner is a leading local artist and producer working with AI, with a particular interest in how the technology can help him become a ‘one man band’ on stage. He also organises the regular Barcelona AI Music Meetup (BAMM), which acts as a meeting point for local artists and researchers.
