If electronic music, once an underground movement, has reached the biggest stages of the world's largest festivals, it’s thanks to artists like Solomun. The German producer and DJ has ascended to the highest level from humble beginnings in Hamburg, and these days finds himself rubbing shoulders with the biggest EDM stars. He’s done all this while staying faithful to the same music he’s been playing for years: melodic, deep and emotional sounds that fall somewhere between deep house and melodic techno;  and of course, ocean-sized drops. An Ibiza icon and mass idol who’s even been profiled in The New Yorker, Solomun finally makes his debut at Sónar for our 30th anniversary.
