The number of clubs, festivals, and events that Utrecht-native Carista has curated throughout her career has brought her into contact with countless talents, sounds, and musical trends. All of which can be heard in her eclectic DJ sets, plus her monthly radio show United Identities for NTS. She started DJing in 2009 before turning her hand to production in 2020 and is now head of her own label, also named United Identities. She comes to Sónar with a growing fan base, ready to deliver a set full of unexpected twists and turns: Detroit techno and Chicago house, UK bass, broken beat, ... in short, anything that’s upbeat and party-focused.
