Obsessed with Spanish EBM and in love with UK bass music, Topanga Kiddo is easily seduced by anything that doesn't know quite where it comes from. A music journalist and selector raised in the middle of Valencia’s legendary ‘Ruta de Bakalao’ - a series of clubs - she found the missing piece of her sonic puzzle in the oral traditions and traditional percussion of north-eastern Spain. For her debut appearance at Sónar she’ll bring these traditions - and those of many other remote parts on the planet - to the dance floor.
