They specialise in gqom, a rugged, percussive style of music from the city of Durban that mixes South African house with bass-heavy sounds from UK and US club music. Whether producing or mixing they emphasise the darker, rawer and rougher side of pan-African club music, though there’s plenty of hooks buried not far below the surface of their trance-inducing sets.
