Born in Turkey and raised with Turkish, Syrian and Azerbaijani culture, Berlin-based artist Nene H has spent the past decade commanding dancefloors and pushing them to their limits with unparalleled daring. She blends tricksy techno with Turkish-German hip-hop, ghetto-house, and any other genre that gets the crowd going. She does so with a heavy dose of unpredictability, but filling the underground with the sound of rebellion and protest. Her appearance at Sónar by Night promises to be one of the most intense moments of Sónar’s 30th anniversary.
