Curiosity for music led to Logic1000 moving halfway across the world from Melbourne to Europe, where she’d eventually settle in Berlin. When she moved in 2018, her first self-titled EP was already making noise with some major names (including Four Tet and Anthony Naples). And although it took a while for the young Australian producer to get comfortable in the booth, she’s now a regular fixture on the European club circuit. An intuitive producer and DJ, she doesn’t think in terms of genres, preferring to let herself be guided by gut feeling. That’s how she came to sample 90s R&B vocals in her tracks, blending UK funky and garage with structures from house and techno. In the same way, her presence at Sónar’s 30th Anniversary just feels… natural.
