ISAbella’s name is indivisible from Barcelona’s famous queer party MARICXS - the city’s ‘pervy and loving techno party’ in their own words. The party founded by the Colombian-born DJ and her friends has carved out a much-needed space for the LGBTQ+ community in the city, a safe space where they can dance and let themselves go. And her mix of everything from classic 90s techno to all shades of house and trance makes her an ideal sparring partner for Roza Terenzi. The Australian DJ splits her time between Berlin and her native country, and is possessed of a limitless curiosity and musical range just as wide as the distance between her two homes. Together, they’ll provide one of the most unforgettable moments of Sónar’s 30th anniversary.
