House, disco, and beyond
Horse Meat Disco and Prosumer come together for a luxurious session of house, disco, and beyond at Sónar by Day. Horse Meat Disco was founded as a weekly Sunday afternoon queer party in London, while Prosumer is best known as an original resident at Berlin’s Panorama Bar, but these days there’s few places they haven’t played, from innocuous gay bars to major festival stages. As well as a vast knowledge of music, they share a certain irreverent sense of humour: Prosumer describes his ‘direct’ sound as “like humping your leg”, while Horse Meat Disco pride themselves on “the popper-scented air of sheer authenticity” that accompanies their sets. This will be a fun one.
