Forensic Architecture with Stefanos Levidis

Dissecting ‘natural violence’

Using a variety of digital and architectural techniques, Forensic Architecture investigates human rights injustices committed by police, the military and corporations across the world. Part innovative visual and spatial practitioners, and part criminal investigators, their work has shone light on abuses of power and even led to criminal convictions

Stefanos Levidis is Forensic Architecture’s lead researcher on border violence and migration, where he has been investigating the entanglement of border defence strategies and the natural environment. In an audiovisual lecture for Sónar+D, he’ll discuss the emerging practice of 'natural' violence, using examples from Forensic Architecture and his own work.
