In 2023 Spanish electronic music can’t be described without mentioning the hybrid blends of Latinx genres such as cumbia and guaracha with rap and reggaeton. All of this converges Argentinian-born artist Flaca. Now based in San Sebastian in the Basque country, her music and her regular Chukiteo events have a clear message: support Latinx and music by ethnic minorities. Now it will be Sónar’s turn to host her globally-minded party.
