Tunisian artist Deena Abdelwahed pieces her music together from different worlds, joining Arabic influences to modern club sounds and experimental sonics. She crafts a sound that’s as distinctive as it is deeply personal, weaving deep rhythms and unconventional textures into the fabric of her cerebral club tracks. She’s also collaborated with choreographer Alexandre Roccoli, produced for Fever Ray and remixed legendary French-Lebanese singer Bachar Mar-Khalifé. In 2023 she’ll play Sónar for the third time, with a brand new live show 'Jbal Rrsas' that showcases her unique, polyglot sound.
