CLARAGUILAR was writing soundtracks for theatre when she realised she wanted to make music for herself. Her soundscapes - which range from ambient and techno to chamber pop and pure electronica - came to life during the first performances of her debut album Mystery Is All in 2011 and 2022. For Sónar 2023, the Catalan composer and multi-instrumentalist has prepared a new show that reflects both her influences from the stage and the latest advances in her music. All of which will culminate in a second album, due out in the middle of next year.
