‘Azabache AV’ brings together two London-based artists who work with sound and emerging technologies in novel ways. Acting as the premiere of Spanish composer, producer and sound designer Ana Quiroga’s forthcoming album ‘Azabache’- due out on Houndstooth this summer - this performance sees her joined by British-Spanish artist and director Estela Oliva aka CLON. Ana’s otherworldly record is a ritualistic exploration of family roots, folk traditions, and magick, around which Estela’s visuals create a hybrid virtual-physical reality, fusing experimental film-making and video game aesthetics.
