“Techno for punks, punk for techno-heads” is how Louisahhh described her seminal label RAAR (with kindred spirit Maelstrom), and it’s a sentiment that holds true for her latest incarnation. ‘The Practice of Freedom’ is an album and live band project with fellow traveller Bertrand James, that brings together, techno, EBM, post-punk and Industrial rock influences into a pulsating, urgent and ferocious whole. Known for her releases on Bromance Records, and for collaborations and remixes with Brodinski, Chromeo, Maelstrom and more, Louisahhh debut’s at Sónar at a high point in her career, able to join the dots between her formative scenes and genres in an exhilarating manner.
