In October 2021, the CCCB and Sónar hosted the AI & Music S+T+ARTS Festival in Barcelona. As part of the festival, three co-creations, featuring artists and musicians working in collaboration with researchers and scientists from Barcelona’s UPC, were developed and then performed at the festival: AWWZ b2b AI DJ, Training virtual dancers with Hamill Industries & Kiani del Valle, and Piano + AI with Marco Mezquida. Moderated by Soraya Hidalgo, and featuring Carles Sora, Philippen Salembir and Mireia DG from the UPC, alongside AWWZ, this discussion will look at some of experiences and combined findings of these three unique and innovative projects.
