Did you know that the more pleasure we get from listening to a song, the more curious we become? And that the more curiosity we feel, the more money we are willing to spend on an artist's music? And furthermore that the more curiosity a song provokes, the stronger our associated memories are?

These are just some of the results obtained from the experiment that Idibell (the brain plasticity and cognition unit of the Hospital de Bellvitge - UB- Icrea) carried out at Sónar CCCB last October.

This June at Sónar+D we will be joined by neuroscientist Antoni Rodríguez Fornells and DJ Alicia Carrera to learn about the results of the experiment. They’ll be accompanied by neuroscientist Robert Zatorre (McGill University, Montreal) and Sony digital sales specialist and founder of Indiemono Carlos López Casany.
