The Chemical Brothers announced to play Sónar 2021 on Saturday 19th June
Today Sónar 2021 announces one of the most highly anticipated electronic shows of the moment – the new live performance by The Chemical Brothers.
The legendary British duo formed by Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will perform in Spain on the evening of Saturday 19th June 2021. Created alongside frequent collaborator Adam Smith, this spectacular and technologically advanced new immersive audiovisual show, will feature their timeless hits alongside highlights of their recent album ‘No Geography’ - universally recognized as one of the best of their career.
The 27th edition of Sónar Barcelona and the 9th Sónar+D congress will take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th June 2021, at the Fira Montjuïc de Barcelona and Fira Gran Via de L’Hospitalet venues.
Sónar continues to work at this present time with the artists, speakers and participating entities to reschedule in 2021 the majority of shows and activities that all of us were looking forward to enjoying this year.
Remember that all ticket types and accreditations purchased for Sónar 2020 and Sónar+D 2020 are automatically valid for the new dates of Sónar 2021.
Very soon we’ll be announcing more details of the extraordinary edition Sónar+D CCCB, which will be celebrated on the 18th and 19th of September 2020 at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), Sónar’s original home. The Sónar+D CCCB event will be fundamentally online, free and open to all, with the possibility of physical attendance depending on how the legislation regarding capacities evolves.
