You already know THE BLAZE. What you might not know is that their performance at Sónar 2020 will be their only festival performance of the year. Having reached millions of people around the world thanks to their cinematic electronic songs and accompanying videos, The Blaze make their Sónar debut at their creative peak.
Formed when film director Jonathan Alric asked his cousin Guillaume to help him with the sound production of one of the videos he was making, the duo soon transcended the medium, making their first album, "Dancehall" (Animal63, 2018) one of the most listened to and revered on the French scene in recent years. Their approach is somehow reminiscent of that of Liberato, who also achieved enormous success in his native Naples a couple of years ago: creating image and music at the same time, closely linked to each other, to tell stories of his environment and his most immediate reality. A formula of daily epic and euphoric electronics that we can enjoy in all its splendour on the screens and speakers of SonarClub, the largest stage of Sónar by Night.
