Nocturnal Sunshine pt2, Maya Jane Cole’s second album under her dubstep and bass moniker is due for release in 2019, just in time to present the project at SonarVillage. Expectations are high for the record and the show, that sees the UK producer experiment with more downtempo and urban sounds, expanding her sonic palette beyond the tech house and electro she’s known for.

One of the UK’s best known electronic artists, Maya Jane Coles has toured and performed around the world almost constantly since 2010. In addition to her DJ sets, she’s a skilled producer having released on Mobilee, Fabric or DJ-Kicks, as well as two LP’s under her own name: 2013’s Comfort and 2017’s Take Flight. No stranger to Sónar, this years set at Sónar by Day will allow her to explore different sides of her impressive sonic universe.
