Sébastien Devaud will close one of the days in SonarHall, where he will present his new album and perform live for the first time at the festival. The DJ and producer known worldwide as Agoria will pay us a visit and show off his new live performance that promises to transcend his role as a dance floor DJ. At the end of 2017 Agoria released a new and excellent EP entitled "Boomerang", to celebrate the first anniversary of his new label, Sapiens, on which Nicolas Becker (sound engineer for films including "Gravity" and "The Arrival") and Narada West (who played the drums for Aufgang) participated. According to Devaud, this new work serves as a tribute to the first French minimalists who experimented with synthesizers; an interesting starting point from which to expand his dancefloor orientated sound, that he has honed both in the studio and on stage.

For a year now the Frenchman's A&R prowess (previously responsible for the inFiné label) has been focused on the development of his own label, Sapiens which has recently stood out for releasing a series of new remixes of the classic track "Domina", by his friend and cohort through many adventures, Olivier Raymond, aka Oxia. 2017 also saw Agoria collaborate on British veteran DJ Nic Fanciulli's first album, "My Heart", as well as with other techno luminaries such as Gerber, Matthew Dear (as Audion) and house vocalist Jamie Principle. Once again at the top of his game, his concert at Sónar will serve to further strengthen this new and exciting stage of his career.
