"Voyager" marks the return of Vitalic to the very forefront of the international scene. The French producer with a legions of fans around the world has released his fourth album on which he continues to incorporate elements that have helped define his music from the very beginning: techno energy, pop melodies, cosmic sounds and up-beat, acid flecked eccentricity. With this album, Pascal Arbez-Nicolas celebrates 15 years as Vitalic and shapes an LP that revisits his love for space disco (or as he calls it, "fuzzy disco") on which he collaborated with Miss Kittin and recorded a surprising version of Supertramp. These highlights and other inspired moments are perfectly suited to large venue live shows, especially that of SonarPub at Sónar by Night. Vitalic will present his new music live onstage with a performance that promises to live up to the considerable prestige he has built up over the years. Vitalic's appearance at the beginning of the 2000s, with bangers like "Poney" (International Deejay Gigolos, 2001) or "My Friend Dario" (Different, 2005) was a game-changing moment, following the reign of 'French touch' in the late 90's, and brought new life and energy to the French filtered disco-house formula. Vitalic was part of the second wave of Gallic techno together with a generation of artists including Justice, Daft Punk and the Ed Banger label and has managed to maintain and reinvent himself throughout, leaving behind a rock attitude from his earlier years to revamp the philosophies of original disco masters like Giorgio Moroder, Cerrone and Patrick Cowley.
