After more than a decade of impeccable output, Prins Thomas has garnered unanimous respect and a reputation that travels far beyond his Scandinavian cosmic disco tag. An excellent producer, remixer, edit maker and DJ, this year he will touch down at Sónar to offer one of his magnificent mid tempo dance sets replete with psychedelic sounds and spiralling melodies to effortlessly captivate the audience at SonarVillage. The Norwegian recently demonstrated his tremendous talent with the release of the 'Principe do Norte' LP, as well as his remixes for Bryan Ferry, Sepalcure, The Emperor Machine and his friend Todd Terje.

Together with Terje and Hans-Peter Lindstrom, Thomas forms part of the Scandinavian cosmic disco Holy Trinity, the genre they somehow invented, transforming cosmic and disco music from the 70s and 80s into a new and exciting sound that has been played in nightclubs across the globe. Thomas is a master of the edit, a discipline that he has elevated to an art form, as well as his own (extraordinary) tracks, remixes and his fantastic sets, while also somehow finding time to run the Full Pupp label, home to the best dance sounds hailing from Northern Europe over the last ten years.
