2017 will finally see the release of the debut album from Lunice. Its title (in principle) will be "360", in reference to his global and panoramic vision of dance friendly rhythms, chiefly based around grime, trap, hip hop and new electronic trends derived from beats and breaks. Lunice is extraordinary: a top quality producer and a magnificent showman on stage, where his dance routines and movements already form an integral part of his concerts. After a gestation period in which he has focused on finalizing the details of his long-awaited album, the Canadian will present his new material at Sónar by Night with a typically energetic and supremely entertaining live show.

Lunice Fermin Pierre II's appearance on the international scene was stunning. He signed to Glasgow label Lucky Me and produced first-rate EPs "Stacker Upper" and "One Hunned", on which he amalgamated masterfully sculpted hip hop beats, maximalist synth sounds and wonky effects like no one else. The success he achieved with TNGHT, the trap project together with Hudson Mohawke, launched him into the stratosphere of mainstream figures including Kanye West (who recruited him to collaborate on "Yeezus"), Diplo, Azealia Banks and even Madonna, for whom he was the opening act on her Rebel Heart World Tour a couple of years ago. His most recent musical offering was "One Question", a track he contributed to the LuckyMe Christmas compilation, which confirms his permanent state "mojo".
