After a prolonged five-year wait the new album from Justice is finally here. “Woman” continues in a similar vein to their previous work “Audio, Video, Disco.” and sees the French duo producing ten new tracks, collaborating with the London Contemporary Orchestra and featuring vocals from Morgan Phalen (Diamond Nights) and Johnny Blake (Zoot Woman). The LP's lead single, the extremely catchy “Safe and Sound”, was selected by Busy P to begin last year’s Ed Banger House Party set at SonarVillage. In 2016 Justice have retaken their position at the forefront of the international scene and will return to Sónar in 2017 with a new show whose format is still to be confirmed. However they are certain to reinforce their on stage reputation, which has made of them one of the most exciting live acts in the world: energy turned to 11, spectacular onstage production, an overpowering sound and a dazzling aesthetic.

In 2003, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay's arrival as Justice was one of those rare events that changed the culture. With just a couple of songs released on compilations and several remixes -especially Simian Mobile Disco’s treatment of “Never Be Alone”- they quickly became the talk of the town. Their first album, simply entitled “†”, confirmed their credentials: A platinum disc in the UK, nominated for theShortlist Prize and a Grammy (a prize they won two years later for their remix of MGMT's “Electric Feel”), and an appearance in many of the music media’s ‘best of year’ album lists. Their formula was simple but tremendously effective: infectious and irresistable electro-house that incorporated stadium rock tropes in a formidable live show. Since then, Justice continue to appeal to old and new fans alike, triumphing wherever they have performed: whether in stadiums, participating in fashion shows or remixing for and collaborating with world-renowned stars. For once the hyperbole is justified.
